Learn to Read the Bible Effectively!

A series of six Seminars giving hints and tips on Bible Reading is planned to follow the Bible Exhibition, starting Thursday 23rd February.

Whether you are familiar with the Bible or are new to reading it, your reading can be complex or frustrating at times. This course of six concise and informative sessions is aimed at equipping you with the tips and skills to help you read and understand the Bible. You should benefit from a new appreciation of the Bible with fresh information and find new energy to begin reading more effectively. 

Unusual subjects

The programme covers an interesting variety of topics, including:

  • Who wrote the Bible - where did it come from?

  • How to use cross references

  • How to overcome the sometimes difficult language used in the Bible

  • An overview of each book of the Bible in a concise, easy to understand manner

  • History and the order of events in the Bible

Extensive course material

The Seminar is supported by a comprehensive Workbook, for which no charge is made. This covers all the material covered during the course, together with useful reference material including maps of locations discussed in the Bible, and an overview of every book in the Bible.

No advance preparation

Just dress comfortably - everything else is provided. You don't even need to bring a Bible. Standard (AV) versions are provided for ease of group references to Bible verses.
