The Trial

Tuesday 30th March, 8pm, Pershore Town Hall

A dramatic investigation into events surrounding the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of the Son of God.

This stimulating and thought-provoking evening will examine questions such as:

  • Did Jesus actually die?

  • Was he really raised?

  • Was it all a hoax?

The following 'witnesses' will be called to give evidence of what they knew of these events, based on the Gospel accounts:

  • The Roman Centurion at the foot of the cross, who watched Jesus die.

  • Joseph of Arimathea, who helped to bury him.

  • Mary Magdalene, who knew him during his ministry.

  • Cleopas, who is reported to have seen him after his resurrection.

  • Thomas, one of the twelve disciples, who initially did not believe he had been raised.

These will be joined by a medical doctor from our own times who will review the injuries Jesus sustained.

The event, for which there is free admission and which will last around an hour, will be followed by light refreshments.

Don't miss your opportunity to hear the evidence examined and come to your own conclusion about this important subject.

Arranged by the Pershore Christadelphians.
